As the Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant, interactive, and valuable community space for our members.
SECO-Institute is a leading global organization committed to promoting cybersecurity and privacy expertise. With a strong focus on education, certification, and research, we aim to empower professionals and organizations to tackle modern challenges in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
- Member Growth: Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain members on our member site, ensuring consistent growth in membership numbers and engagement levels.
- Partner Growth: Develop and execute strategies to sell paid business memberships
- Community Engagement: Foster an inclusive and supportive environment by actively engaging with members, initiating discussions, responding to queries, and encouraging knowledge-sharing among participants.
- Webinar Organization: Plan, coordinate, and manage webinars on various cybersecurity and privacy topics, inviting industry experts and thought leaders as speakers to provide valuable insights to the community.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging content, including blog posts, articles, and videos, to share with the community regularly.
- Social Media Management: Leverage social media channels to promote community events, webinars, and share relevant content to attract new members.
- Feedback Collection: Proactively gather feedback from community members to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes accordingly.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in community management, preferably in the tech/ cybersecurity industry.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and industry trends to effectively interact with community members and experts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
- Networking Skills: Strong networking skills to establish connections with industry professionals, experts, and potential community members.
- Organization and Time Management: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using various online community platforms, webinar tools, and social media channels.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficient in using data analytics tools to monitor community metrics and draw meaningful insights.
- Positive Attitude: A positive, proactive, and approachable demeanor, fostering a welcoming community culture.
This position can be remote, allowing you to work from any location with a reliable internet connection.
